Stadhouderlijk Hof Leeuwarden

A former residence of Nassau and, subsequently, the Orange-Nassau dynasty. Originally stadholders of the Northern Netherlands, later on, stadholders and kings and queens of the Netherlands. The residence remained within the family until 1971. Today, the residence is a hotel, though one can still visit some rooms, e.g. when visiting the hotel restaurant.
