Château de Villandry

Formerly hosting a fortress, now the location of a castle. However, Château de Villandry is mostly known for its exceptionally beautiful gardens. France has bestowed its status of ‘Monument Historique’ upon the castle and gardens, stating its national importance. Additionally, the Unesco awarded the ‘World Heritage Status’ to Château de Villandry.
