Castillo Almodovar del Rio

Reenactments, special events such as ‘Dark Moon’ and ‘Combat Training’ and Medieval Lunches, Castillo Almodovar del Rio offers it all. The Castle has Moorish origins. Visitors can join a guided tour or explore the Castle and gardens on their own. The only exception is the Neo-Gothic Palace which is a private residence. The Castle functioned as one of the locations for the popular tv show ‘Game of Thrones’.
