Cahir Castle
Cahir Castle, one of Ireland's biggest castles, is situated on an island on the River Suir. It was also believed to be impregnable. It faced several wars. In 1961, the last Lord Cahir passed away and the Irish state became the owner. The castle is a favorite for tv- and movie productions.
