Schloss Waldeck

Schloss Waldeck is perched on a hill, overlooking the Edersee. Offering panoramic views across the surrounding area. It was the ancestral seat of the Counts of Waldeck; this family would later on become the Princely family of Waldeck and Pyrmont. Today a hotel is situated in the castle, owned by the local authorities.
