Wanting to experience the grandeur of the Dukes of Courland? Then Runales Palace is a good choice, next to Jelgava Palace. Next to the Dukes of Courland, the Russians, French, and Germans resided or occupied the Palace. It offered space to many different institutions. But restoration works were finished in 2015 and it has been one of Latvia's major tourist attractions ever since.
