Schloss Augustusburg

This palace is situated in Brühl, near the city of Cologne. It was commissioned by the Wittelsbach dynasty, amongst others Archbishop-Electors of Cologne. For the construction, renowned artists designed a rococo interior. One eyecatcher is the elegant staircase. Today, the palace has the Unesco World Heritage Status.
