Schloss Mirabell

The palace is conveniently situated near the river Salzach and the palace gardens offer a magnificent view on the Festung Hohensalzburg. Visitors may like to visit a selection of rooms and enjoy the palace gardens. These gardens have quite known due to some scenes of ‘the Sound of Music’ which were shot here.
