Now is the time to visit the Kraton

Covid is still around us, and many rules still apply in Indonesia. Nevertheless, now might be the perfect time to visit the Kraton. Due to the fact that it is not overcrowded yet. As a result, visitors can explore the palace in a calm way, enjoying a stroll across the palace's premises and exploring the different rooms. What's nice as well: the palace is still used by the Sultan and his family. Staff is still maintaining the palace, and keeps a close eye on all visitors. However, it still gives you a feeling of a palace that is still used and operational. 

In case you have explored the entire palace, do visit the Taman Sari which is situated south of the palace, and by becak only a few minutes away.
